Honestly , I’d take the opposite tack: if you’re going to get it, get it ASAP, ‘cause you know it’s going to be $150-200 on eBay within four months.

With larger lego sets, the most worthless it’ll ever be is when you throw out the box. After that, they go up. You can almost universally make money by purchasing 2000+ piece kits, sitting on them until they are out of production for two years, and selling them for twice what you paid.

I know. Hell, t here are people on eBay who’ll pay $ 25-50 just for the box, more if you have the instructions too .
